RICK VALE has
over 30 years experience as a teacher and performer.
He has been a professional singer in studio
and stage work, soloing with major symphony orchestras
across the United States, and most recently as the male
vocalist with the critically acclaimed INDIANAPOLIS JAZZ
ORCHESTRA. He has taught voice privately and on the
University Level.
RICK has been
playing the piano since age 4 and has been teaching,
off and on, for the last 30 years. Performing as
pianist in professional recording studios across the
country, as a concert pianist on the concert stage, and as
chief musician in several churches...his wide experience is
translated in his ability to teach both ear training and
reading in several styles.
As an
award-winning songwriter for such singers as
Sandi Patty, Rick's works in the contemporary Christian
songwriting world, as well as the concert world; with
several major commissions for works such as symphonies and
operas. He is a University-level songwriting and
composition teacher, and teaches with flexibility according
to the wants and needs of each student. |
