SYNOPSIS: What happens when a theatre runs out of money?  When the “Comstock Theatre” of Henderson, Indiana, faces financial ruin after Ms. Comstock loses everything in the “crash of 2008”, the Board decides to renovate the stage as a condo and rent it out to the “all-American” Smith family, so that they can live out their weekend evenings in front of a live audience (reality theatre?).  As long as the family’s antics fill the seats they don’t have to pay rent...there’s even a local band ("Bipolar Disorder") to set the mood, underscore all conversation and break into song when the conversation runs dry.  This is the premise...but not the whole story...for no one can predict what will happen when a family secret is revealed PUBLICLY, and the lives of the theatre AND the Smith family are in jeopardy.
